Swarovski

Swarovski is an Austrian family company based in Wattens Tyrol. In Austria, its products are now considered as a kind of national symbol and is always mentioned among the first things, if it should be noted, that would be recommended to foreigners in Austria. Swarovski together with the fashion house of Christian Dior in 1956 launched the stone Aurora Borealis, the rainbow effect was achieved by a special vacuum coating. This effect started to be used in the production of the first crystal chandeliers since the mid 60s. Swarovski grinds both natural and synetické jewelery stones under the name Signity.
